Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is coming, so get ready.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be the sequel to Knives Out, which was first released in late 2019—nearly three years ago. That indicates that we will soon, but not soon enough, be treated to more witty conversation, outrageous characters, and another gripping mystery.
Glass Onion's full narrative is yet unknown, but we do know that Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc will once more put his sleuthing abilities to the test, this time on the beautiful Greek island of Spetses. The audience is going to be in for a tremendous treat if Glass Onion is anything like its predecessor.

When will Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery be released?
The sequel will be available on Netflix globally on Friday, December 23. It will also be released in select theatres at an undetermined date.
The Cast
The rest of the original Knives Out cast has not been confirmed to return, but the directors of Glass Onion and Detective Benoit Blanc, Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig, have. We do know that the remainder of the Glass Onion cast consists of Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, and Ethan Hawke, though character names and biographies are still a secret (for a cameo).
The Plot Of The Movie
The plot of the film Glass Onion centres on what transpires when software billionaire Miles Bron (Norton) invites his closest pals to a secluded Greek island. Naturally, the trip isn't as peaceful as it seems; someone dies, and Detective Blanc must find the killer. According to Tudum, "Glass Onion makes a compelling case for being just as vigilant of one's closest friends" if Knives Out was about the lethal bonds of flesh and blood.
The mystery will give viewers a chance to learn more about Craig's Blanc. Johnson explained to Tudum, "We're really getting to know these people and see the world through their eyes. Glass Onion, like the original Knives Out, was influenced by the director's passion for Agatha Christie, but thanks to particular nods to "tropical murder mystery" movies like 1982's Evil Under the Sun and 1973's The Last of Sheila, it feels altogether distinct.
The latter is clearly a source of inspiration. Johnson noted that the plot is first built around a group of friends, or foes, who are involved in a power struggle with one of their successful buddies. He starts by inviting them to this exotic location to participate in this murder mystery game. It happens on his yacht in The Last of Sheila, and everything turns out to be a complete disaster. In essence, that is how Glass Onion starts.
On August 22, Netflix released further teaser images for the movie, including shots of the cast as a whole and Johnson and Janelle Monáe working behind the scenes.
